About Us

CGC is a non-profit community based gymnastics club run by a voluntary parents committee.
The club is a member of Gymnastics Ireland and club members compete regularly at local, regional and national level.
The club was founded in 1976 and is one of the longest running artistic gymnastics clubs in Ireland.
In September 2013 we opened a fulltime facility in Ashbourne Industrial Estate, and are constantly expanding the range of classes available.
We also now run classes on Saturday morning in LeisurePoint Sports Centre, Cardiffsbridge road, Finglas.

 
  • Mission - To provide a high level of gymnastics to all in a safe and fun way!
  • Skills - Our coaches have attended 'Gymnastics Ireland' courses and have specific training for the discipline in which they coach as well as mandatory vetting through our childrens safety policy
  • Members - We provide classes mainly for children aged 3-17yrs, we have recreational 'fun' classes, Display 'Dance' Classes, Squad 'Competitive' Classes, GymAble Classes for children with disabilities and we are always looking to expand our range services to suit the needs of the community.

looking for a Job?

 

Part-time Trainee Gymnastics Coaches

Do you have a passion for sport, love working with children and are over 16? We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, team players to join our coaching team. A gymnastics or related background would be an advantage but not necessary as full training will be provided. This position is part-time and involves evening/weekend work.

Experienced Women’s Artistic Coach

If you are an experienced Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach, we would like to hear from you. The ideal candidate would hold a Level 1 Gymnastics Ireland coaching qualification or equivalent. We are looking to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic, reliable team player who is passionate about coaching Gymnastics to young people.

Experienced Men’s Artistic Coach

The ideal candidate would preferably hold a Gymnastics Ireland Level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent and would be familiar with the MAG competitive structure. A Gymnastics Ireland Judging qualification would also be a distinct advantage. The role would primarily involve the redevelopment and implementation of our current MAG program from recreational through to Elite. This position is currently part-time (approx. 20 hours) with a possibility of becoming a full-time role for the right person. We are looking for a highly motivated, reliable team player who is passionate about coaching gymnastics to young people. The role involves primarily evening and weekend hours and will require flexibility around competitions and other relevant events.

Rates of Pay are dependent on experience and qualifications.
